High quality pressure vessels are of paramount importance to the water remediation industry. Vessels not manufactured to the correct specifications or from the correct raw materials, can be detrimental to the success of your remediation project.

Often these poor quality vessels will lead to premature failure causing major onsite disruptions, lengthy downtimes and expensive recovery costs.

What are PFAS?

Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are toxic, persistent and bioaccumulate in the environment. These chemicals are resistant to heat, water and oil, these toxic chemicals have been widely used in a range of products across Australia and around the world.

There are many common sources of PFAS including firefighting foam, water repellents, fabric protector, carpets and cookware.

These chemicals are of concern because they have now been detected in groundwater, drinking water, and soils in many of our local communities. This creates a potential exposure pathway to humans and possible health risks.

PFAS has drawn a lot of attention from Environmental Departments in the last decade driving the need for remediation of contaminated soil and water.

Glacier Filtration has extensive experience in designing and supplying pressure filter vessels for PFAS Treatment Professionals in Australia and New Zealand.

We pride ourselves on meeting the unique design requirements of our clients by offering vessels with numerous Cylindrical Wall Height options, Inlet and Outlet Location, Top and Lateral Manways, Sight Glass, Distributors suitable for Air Scour Assisted Backwashing and great chemical resistance. Pressure rated from 2.5, 4, 6, 8 and 10Bar with options to go to 16bar.
