Validated Low Pressure Ultra Violet Disinfection

Benefits

The BetaLine-Eco Series are a range of optimised ‘L-shaped’ chambers incorporating the finest of Low Pressure Amalgam lamp technology. The inlet and outlet are positioned at 90 degrees, providing predictable hydraulics while the flow passes the UV lamps.

The BetaLine-Eco series uses the unique high-efficiency EcoLight amalgam low-pressure UV lamps which emit germicidal wavelengths at 254nm.

The compact EcoLight lamps used in the BetaLine-Eco series are especially developed by for use in the BetaLine-Eco systems. The EcoLight lamps offer extremely long lamp-life and operational costs are relatively low when compared to traditional UV lamps.

  • ‘L-shaped’ configuration: Easy to install and small overall footprint.
  • Low-Pressure UV lamps: More efficient and longer lasting than Medium-Pressure lamps.
  • 316L Stainless Steel Chamber: Higher quality construction.
  • Validated Unit: Validated according to ÖNORM (M5873-1) & NIPH-Liste-B.
  • Automatic Sleeve Wiping: Prevents fouling of quartz sleeves.
  • Lambda5 HMI PLC Controller: Offers MODBUS integration.
  • Kills 99.99% of pathogens instantly.
  • Effective against chlorine resistant pathogens such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia

The BetaLine-Eco is CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) designed and has been Biodosimetrically tested and validated by the Austrian Institute ÖNORM (M5873-1).

The BetaLine-Eco has also been tested and approved by the Norwegian Institute for Public Health (NIPH-ListeB).

These official approvals and validations allow the BetaLine-Eco UV Systems to be used in larger waterworks and smaller drinking water facilities to protect consumers against waterborne pathogens, including most bacteria (E.coli, Legionella, Vibrio, Pseudomonas, and Klebsiella), viruses (Poliovirus, Rotavirus), protozoa, parasites, bacterial spores (Bacillus Clostridium) and chlorine resistant pathogens like Cryptosporidium and Giardia, against which the BetaLine-Eco has a 99.99% kill rate.
