Glacier Filtration was proud to be part of the 2025 NSW Water Industry Operations Conference & Exhibition, held from 23–24 July at the Newcastle Racecourse. Against the backdrop of Newcastle’s stunning beaches, thriving arts scene, and rich industrial history, the event brought together water industry professionals from across the state for two days of knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation.
The conference once again proved to be a highlight of the industry calendar, attracting strong attendance and a vibrant atmosphere. Delegates and visitors enjoyed technical sessions, networking opportunities, and the always-popular competitions.
- The Reece Civil + Viadux Main Tapping Competition was a major highlight, with plenty of energy from the crowds as the finals unfolded on Thursday. MidCoast Council’s team of Dean and Mark claimed first place with an outstanding time of 3 minutes and 18 seconds.
- The IXOM Best Tasting Tap Water Competition also made waves, with Richmond Valley Council’s sample from Casino WTP taking out top honours. They will now represent NSW/ACT in the National Final this December for the title of Australia’s Best Tasting Tap Water.
